What is Cellulitis?
Cellulitis is a common infection of the skin that is caused by bacteria. It affects the deeper layers of the skin: the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue. This painful bacterial infection can start suddenly and escalate into a potentially life-threatening infection if left untreated.
